WIA Scientific Images Contest
We are happy to announce our 1st WIA Scientific Images Contest! Participate in the contest for the chance to have your image featured on our website for a whole year. We encourage all WIA Members to showcase their artistic side by submitting one or more images for competition. Participants must be WIA Members. Not a member yet? Join our community today here.
Submissions are open from September 1st to October 31st, 2021.
Instructions to participate:

Images can be obtained using any imaging method (photography, light microscopy, electron microscopy, X-ray, MRI or others) or as a combination of multiple images into one artistic composition.

All images must be related to autophagy research.

Submit your images as .jpg, .png or .tiff files. Other formats will not be accepted.

Please provide a catchy title for your image, and a short description (up to 300 characters).

Email us your image(s) to womeninautophagy@gmail.com. Remember to use an appropriate format and include your title and description in the email body!
The voting process will be open to the whole WIA community and will take place in November. Further information about the process will be shared after the submission period closes. Based on the voting results, the three images with the most votes will be featured on our website until our 2022 Annual Meeting. All selected participants will be notified prior to the meeting. Winners will be publicly announced during our 2nd WIA Annual Symposium, held online on November 22nd and 23rd, 2021.
